  33. I am curious...  I have a scanner and a 430-450 mhz ham.  Has anyone ever 
  34. used two right angle bnc connectors together?  I want the antenna to go 
  35. down the side to reduce size and increase portability (keep inside 
  36. pocket)... if this aint good, is there any other suggestion?

  50. A military contractor I used to work for needed an automatic antenna tuner for
  51. some (relatively) older Collins HF radios.  They originally were going to buy
  52. some mil-std tuners for $20k a whack, but instead they were steered to SGC.  At
  53. $600 apiece, they are HAPPY CAMPERS!  Saved you some tax money even!

  73. Hi Daniel, at the low of the sunspot cycle, one usually doesn't have to
  74. worry about signals from more than one direction, at least here near
  75. Phoenix... the East Coast fades out and Hawaii fades in. But I was not
  76. talking about Yagis... I like Yagis and Quads but think HF log-periodics
  77. are a waste of money and I think the TH11DX is a waste of money. I am in
  78. the market for a 5 band beam and it'll probably be a Quad.
